Anger
Family: Obstacle and boundaries
How it differs from similar states
Mobilising energy; I feel both activated and in control—a boundary has been crossed.
How this can feel in the body
Pressure in your head, heat, clenched fists or jaw—your body is mobilising to protect itself.
It usually comes up when
Injustice, violated boundaries, or an obstacle standing in your way.
What this might be pointing to
Mobilising to defend your boundaries—in response to injustice from a situation or another person.
What you can do with this
Anger signals that a boundary has been crossed. It is valid. But act on it only after your physiological arousal has settled (20+ minutes). Then name exactly which boundary was violated.
Where the name comes from
Anger is a response to injustice or violated boundaries, but its strength comes from your inner values.
Not quite it?
Closest by feel — the same ones the compass would show.
Two minutes, and you will see whether this is really it
